I’ve just ventured into the world of military radios and picked up a Clansman PRC-352!

The Clansman series was used by the British Army from the 1970s until the early 2000s, known for its rugged design and reliable performance in the field. The PRC-352 is a VHF manpack radio designed for infantry use, covering the 30–76 MHz range with FM modulation. It typically runs at 2 watts but can be boosted to 20 watts with an RF amplifier (the PRC-351 booster unit).

What drew me to the Clansman radios is their military-grade build quality, excellent receive audio, and ability to operate in harsh conditions—not to mention their historical significance! I’m looking forward to testing it out and seeing how it performs on the air.

If you have experience with Clansman radios, I’d love to hear your thoughts! What’s your favorite military radio?
